Another restless night yet again. My vivid thoughts have a habit of haunting me in my sleep. I’d wake up drenched in sweat, this time my heart pounded beneath my ribs. I’d try to fall baack asleep, but the faces of the dark petrify me. As soon as i had closed my eyes, the horrific faces reapeared. The faces would stretch, expanding wider and wider. It then engulfs me and all i see is darkness. I am then surrounded by more faces, some drenched in blood and some without eyes. They would call my name sometimes. I could hear them, and almost feel them. Its all too real for me. They would reach out for my hand, grab me and pull me. I simply cannot fathom what these nightmares mean.
I watched the frail flame dance with the cold wind. Tears of wax streamed down softly on the candle’s pale white surface. The flickering flame was hypnotizing, i could feel it swallow my mind into a cave of day dreams.
The mountains overshadowed the miniscule valley, almost implying authority upon the lower lands. Thick glistening sheets of snow spread across the overlapping hills. The virgin snow is soft, delicate and fresh. Skeletal trees rise in triumph whilst birds fluttered by. The air was thick, cold and dominant.
I then let myself wonder furthur into the woods. The stream was partly frozen and rigid, but the remains were still flowing with life. Sunlight soaked through the clouds, the faint glow surrounded me. The seemingly short seconds tured into an infinite lust for winter’s kiss.
